Intercultural competence, critical interculturality and internationalisation
for universities and social impact organisations
Consultant · Learning Designer · Facilitator
For almost twenty years, I have partnered with universities and social impact organisations across Europe, Latin America and Asia. These experiences have shaped the way I approach internationalisation, learning and institutional change: always context-specific, collaborative and grounded in practice.
Drawing on experience across diverse Higher Education contexts, I design and develop context-specific, situated programmes that combine theory and practice to advance critical, meaningful and inclusive internationalisation.
This is a space where ideas meet action. A space that leads to more impactful practices and enduring outcomes.
Why collaborate with me?
- Every context is different . There are no universal solutions. Every university, organisation, team and project starts from a different place. My work begins by understanding your context and co-designing responses that make sense for your priorities, people and ambitions.
- Bringing ideas and practice. Whether developing intercultural competence, exploring critical interculturality or supporting internationalisation, I connect theory with practice to design initiatives that are both intellectually rigorous and practically useful.
- Consultancy beyond facilitation. Some collaborations involve professional development. Others focus on curriculum design, organisational learning, educational programmes or international projects. Together, we identify the approach that best responds to your context.
- An insider’s understanding. Having worked in Higher Education and social impact organisations since 2007 as professional staff, lecturer and independent consultant, I understand how institutions function from the inside. That experience helps me design initiatives that are realistic, collaborative and sustainable.
- International perspective, situated approach . Working across Europe, Latin America, North America and Asia has taught me that meaningful change is always context-specific. International experience is valuable not because it offers ready-made answers, but because it broadens the questions we ask and the possibilities we imagine.
- Design. Develop. Facilitate.
Depending on the project, I may contribute through consultancy, learning design, curriculum development, facilitation or longer-term collaboration. Different contexts require different ways of working.
